No Pressure
Not a race. Not just a run. Definitely not boring.
Hashing is a social trail adventure. A hare sets a mystery route using flour, chalk, ribbons, or other marks. The pack follows, gets mildly confused, finds the way back, then circles up for songs, shout-outs, and makan.
Follow Trail
Follow the marked trail, solve a few checks, and stay with the pack. The route is part puzzle, part adventure, part group confusion.
Circle Up
After the trail, we gather for the circle — a relaxed hash tradition with announcements, songs, visitors, first-timers, and a few light-hearted shout-outs.
On On
After circle, we head for food, drinks, and the important business of social recovery.
Bring the basics. Leave the ego.
You do not need fancy gear. Just bring what helps you stay comfortable, ready for the trail and On-On after.
Bring the basics. Keep it relaxed.
A typical Wednesday night
Every run is a little different, but the evening is simple: gather, follow trail, circle up, then head for the On-On.
Gather round
Meet at the runsite. Hares explain the trail markings and where the On-On will be.
Trail starts
Walk, jog, run, or follow the pack. The hare marks it, the pack solves it.
Back and recover
Change, hydrate, cool down, and swap trail stories.
Circle
Songs, announcements, visitors, first-timers, hares, and a few light-hearted shout-outs.
On-On Makan
Food, drinks, social recovery, and the part most people secretly came for.
Times after the trail start are approximate. The 6:00pm start is not.
Hares wanted. Glory questionable.
The Hareline shows upcoming runs, confirmed hares, and gaps where volunteers are needed. New hares are welcome, especially with a co-hare.
Upcoming
Runs needing hares
Want to set trail? Pair up, ask for help, and keep it walker-friendly.
Sweaty people. Questionable songs. Excellent Wednesdays.
A proper Wednesday with the Harriets usually involves trail, circle, makan, visitors, regulars, and at least one person asking where the flour went.
Ready for Wednesday?
Check the next run, message us if you are unsure, and come along. We will help with the rest.
